    I have seen go-karts going with over 60 miles per hour, but they looked like they were going to crash any moment.I gues a safe speed is around 50 miles per hour.

    has any one hear ever herd of cart week at daytona superspeedway ya the one they race the daytona 500 and the rolex 24 hours on i raced on the road cource their when i was 14 doing 60mph on the aprion of 3+4 but that was the slowest class they were running the fastest go kart i have ever seen was doing 190 and change with a restrictor plate and in a draft and had to weigh 575 but i was talking to some of the people and they said if they took the restrictor and extra weight off it would go some wear in the 210 to 220mph range but when i was their i did see 2 karts get air bourne and 1 of the guys had to be air lifted
