    orlando- tampa..

hello to whom it may concern,, I'e been living in florida in the orlando tampa area,, for 6 years now.. and I used to race Karts in south america.. now over here the only way to do it is to drive close to two hours out of the way to even practice.. Im surprised that there is not a legitimate motorsports park in central florida... something like moroso...
I would like to send a message to any investors or anyone who just wants to see if it works in central florida... I think is a great area well known internationally and tourism is huge. it would make a great place for a motorsports park... if I had the capital I would look into building one my self, however,,, I would definitely invest my time in making it happen..
any thoughts on whether its a good idea or not...
karting is rising in florida and there is definitely a market for it specially with all the series they have.. i'm sure motorcycle racing is too...
    any thoughts?
    thanks..

It's a good idea. The problem is is that Americans don't know what real Karting really is. There isn't nearly as much Kart activity as there ought to be. If you say Karts to your typical American they think the little go-karts that you see that cost $5 for a few laps around a crappy track. Sure they are fun to play on but not a way to a racing career. Good luck with your attempts. If it works I'll have to swing by if I'm ever out there.

Yep, in 1959 and it probably looked like the pic below.

Karting as you racers know it is called Euro Karts here by most trying to explain how it isn't a go-kart at fun-time play land.

Check with the track in Ocala. The guy who owns it is an investor and may want to expand into Orlando area, who knows?

    Good Luck.
