    Electric Karts...

The new trend in concession karting: Electric!
No fumes, no smell, pure torque and equal fields... Anyone ever tried?
Found there were a couple of tracks in Europe and in the US, and happy to find that we actually have a new one in Toronto (Canada) that opened up... Looks like somebody's going sideways pretty soon!

    Your thoughts?!?!

Sounds like a cool idea. This would make go-kart racing much more comfortable i think. Can you post a link on where to find more information on this. I've been thinking about buying a go-kart for a long time and realy consider to buy a electrical kart.

They are battery operated. Problem is that a much larger battery with liquids is required to generate so much power and torque.
And we love fumes, aint we?

This is a good idea that must be applied practically.
I am confused about the power be generated with this batteries. Will they generate enough power to race in Kart racing??
Although this is quite a creative idea and i would appreciate this.

I'm a petrol head and an adrenaline junkie, so no noise, no smell - sounds pretty boring to me!

First time I've heard it but it sounds like a great idea to say the least.

well, in india there are many battery operated bykes have launched and they are also quite successful but till now i have not heard about a battery operated kart.its a cool idea but it can be worse when the kart was in the middle of the race and its battery ends.
