Kawartha Durham Kart Club 2009 Banquet of Champions

On Saturday, the Kawartha Durham Kart Club held their year end Banquet of Champions to celebrate the accomplishments of all the competitors and to award the class champions their much deserved hardware. With a sell out crowd which included drivers (of course), parents, friends and many other family members, the banquet was a great finish to an exciting season for the club. There were plenty of prizes to be given away including sets of MG slicks and rain tires courtesy of Mike Adams of MG Tires, a tool cabinet from Williams Brothers and engine refresh coupons from long time club supporters MSM Motorsports, Cactus Motors and Karts & Parts. The club’s newest sponsor, TC Enterprises generously donated thousands of dollars worth of office supplies including printers, leather briefcases and tools. There were raffles and door prizes for everyone.

Class champions and their competitors were presented with their hardware and along with their trophy and jacket, Class champions were presented with a personal banner courtesy of On-Track Promotions to proudly hang on their canopy at the track.

KDKC was pleased to have Kawartha Speedway’s Race Director, Derek Lynch join them for the night and the club presented Derek with a new custom track layout display to be used at the Kawartha Speedway “Driver Experience” days.
