Any of you have any cool office xmas parties coming up? One bad thing about working from home is I dont have any real xmas parties lined up. I used to love my university xmas parties and miss em!. Some friends of mine have 3 or 4 lined up, im pretty jealous..lol

Dec 19th we're having one at the dog track. They got us a private area set up with catering and plenty of betting to be had. I did well last year....won like $165. Hope to do ok this year.

Nothing at the office planned. We do get 3 days off for Christmas though.

At my University we don't really have X-mas party's. Partly because many people aren't Christian and therefore don't celebrate Christmas, but also because this is also exam time and the University has all the residences on 23-hour quiet hours. You have to be quiet, except between 9-10pm, so that people can study and sleep.

There was a pretty big bash last week though to celebrate the last day of classes for 1st semester.

In exactly 1 year I will be finished my University degree...

We have tons of parties, just none in the residences right now because of quiet hours. It's understandable at this time of the year, with exams going on and such.

I'm actually trying to write an essay right now. 10 pages due at 4pm Monday, I have 2 pages so far. As you can tell I've had a productive weekend.

I'm writing a comparative essay on the elite theory democracy focusing on Aristotle, John Stuart Mill, and Carole Pateman.

What is your Masters in? I'm finishing an Arts degree, Major in History and minor in Poli Sci.

Our university's semester ends this Thursday, the 11th.

Kind of funny, I never been to college but now I work at one.
