Thread: Chelsea verses Ipswich Town

Hi guys I dont know if you have heard of Premier football league in Blighty but the mighty Chelsea took on the lesser known Ipswich Town in what we call the FA cup. Well the assumption whould be that Chelsea would kick their arse given their budget is 100 times that of the lowly Ipswich Town. However would you believe that the lowly Ipswich Town were able to show strength against the mighty buck and proved, yet again, that the great thing about the FA cup is that it brings together teams that wouldn't normally meet and show that there is fire and ability at all levels. I am an Ipswich supporter and understand the limit of their budget and so Im thankful for the FA cup to bring such excitement from teams who whould not generally meet on a Saturday afternoon.

I didnt see the game but the Premiership is my favorite league right now. Used to love Serie A but its gotten boring. I still follow Milan but Premiership is where its at! Just saw Gerard tie it up for Liverpool..
