    What will $500k buy you around the world? Pick a house for yourself here...

    It's always interesting to see what kind of real estate $500k will buy you around the world. Some of the places listed are incredible. i luv the nyc studio compared to huge houses across the world.

    Definitely Turkey: Kalkan, Mediterranean Sea! I am absolutely obsessed with the sea and the Mediterranean. Look at the pool! It's so stunning! Plus it's right next to Greece and I can stop over for a visit :P

    I would have to go with the house in New Zealand. I love big houses with lots of room and land to do whatever i want on. I would not want to live in something like Manhattan where you get about 800 sq feet. I would go crazy

    It sux that we cant buy houses like that here for 500k, you can buy a half decent house for that much but it is probably on a 100sqm block of land behind the rubbish tip
