    Car Question

Hey I just can't figure this out. I was driving down the road and I turned into my moms driveway. As I slowed down and turned the whell, the car just died. It didn't jerk or anything just died and coasted up the driveway. Well I inspected it over and over and found it wouldn't start. Well when I started to move things I noticed my throttle postioning sensor was gone. I bought a new one but the car still doesnt start. So I had my uncle look and he thinks its the timing pulley it doesn't spin when I turn the key any ideas?

By timing pulley are talking about the pulley at the front of the engine that drives the alternator, water pump, etc?
If so two things, when you turn the key can you hear the starter motor turning, does it sound normal, or does it sound like its spinning faster and making a higher pitch sound, that would indicate that its not engaging the crown gear on the flywheel.
If the engine turns over but the front pulley does not, it might have become loose and sheared the key off, if the engine does not turn over the crown gear could be damaged, or possibly even the flywheel came loose and sheared the bolts off the crankshaft. Listen for abnormal noises when turning the engine over and try to figure out their origin.
