Thread: What are you doing today for Veterans day

I think it is important to thank our soldiers each and every day for our freedom. What are you doing today to honor the fallen veterans? and our current soldiers?

My daughter and I went to the local monument in town and also watched the Veterans day parade.

My boyfriend is in the military. He and I are going to eat dinner at Applebee's tonight to celebrate. I think we'll also go to Home Depot and get some supplies (they have a discount today)

I think it's wonderful that so many places are giving discounts, and eating free to active military.
I'm telling you the speech that 2 of the older Veterans gave at that monument was amazing.

Did you watch the special on PBS at 9 EST? It was wonderful. I always feel blessed by the people who help protect us and keep us safe. Plus, they always have great stories that we can learn from.
