Thread: Black Friday

Are you going out with the masses to do your Christmas shopping on Black Friday? I have before but with a little one this year I don't think I'll be going this year.

That's an American thing, we already celebrated Thanksgiving in Canada and its always on a Monday.
Just as an aside, I was in Atlanta during a business trip one year on Thanksgiving Day, it was almost as if they rolled up the sidewalks, everything was empty, the only place we could find for lunch was a McDonald all the other restaurants were closed in fact I was flying back to Toronto that evening and anyone who has ever flown in or out of Atlanta knows how busy and crowded the airport normally is, that place was pretty much deserted, it was eerie and almost ghost like, it was a really strange feeling.

I have done it for several years now but don't think I'll be going out this year. I don't have a lot of gifts to buy and I don't feel like dealing with crowds.
