Thread: Racing Santa

A friend of mine and I went out to dinner tonight and then some drinks later on. We were on the conversation of, say Santa had to race against any of the top racers who would be the best match up and why.

This lead to more drinks, tons of laughs and a few possibilities. So here we go folks, give me some ideas.

Santa could beat anyone. The reindeers are super fast and would outrun any race car. Hands down, Santa would be the winner of anyone.

Unless you mandated that Santa drive a racecar and not his sleigh, to try to even things out. I wonder if his reindeer handling skills would translate to driving skills!

I agree with speedster Santa would of course win against any race car driver. It would be interesting to see him squeeze himself into a race car though but I guess if he can fit down a chimney anything is possible!

Here is my 1 cent.

If a race car driver will race with sleighs and reindeers, santa would definitely win. But if santa will race on race car, the race car driver will win.

But how about santa racing with the fastest jet fighter in the world, who do you think will win? I say santa will win because he travels the whole world, sending gifts to everyone, in just 24 hours.

What a sight! Santa squeezing into a race car! Now that is something I'd love to see. Yeah let's have the race car drivers all race in a sleigh and with reindeer!

Santa could beat anyone in anything or on anything. He and his reindeer cannot be beaten. It's Santa all the way, jingling his bells and riding that magic sleigh.

Santa only has super powers to fit a big man down little chimneys though, nothing else. Yes he drives well, but what happens if someone could beat him? And who is to say its not possible to get a blown out reindeer just like a tire?

(And now you can all see why the friend and myself had this conversation for over an hour)

I am with rainbowwarrior I think Santa would win regardless of sleighs, cars, fighter jets, I mean he is Santa after all! Would be an interesting sight to see though!

Rudolf made Santa late for his deliveries, that was just a reindeer having a flu.

With all the disadvantages given to Santa, he will always win because his type of vehicle is run by magic and not by machines.
