Thread: First car you owned

What was the first car that you owned? Mine was blue honda civic hatchback circa 1986...it was 1998 at the time. Still to this day one of my favorite cars.

What a coincidence! My car was also blue and an '86 Chevy Nova...really a Toyota Corolla, I know, but it was a good car and had a manual transmission that I was proud to handle.

My first car was a 1975 orange Chev Monza. It was fun to drive and I have some good memories of it.

These days the color would definitely stand out.

My first car wasn't anything to brag home about. It was a Chevy Malibu and the only thing I wanted was a sunroof, but I wasn't able to get one. Oh-- and it was bright green.

I wonder why colors of cars come into and out of fashion?

Speaking of colors, when I was a kid my two cousins each bought Chevelles, which I believe were their first cars. One was red and one was a dark green. Apparently the cousin with the red car was pulled over by police a lot more than the other one was.

Oh my I had some beater car ... that is all I had for about the first 4 cars. I had them about 3-4 months then got into accidents. My parents bought my first 4 cars, then I bought one and I had no accident and drove it for about 3 years. It was a Chevette.

I actually drove all mmine until it wasn't reasonable to put anymore money into them. My second was an 86 Nissan Maxima that I would still be driving until it just gave out on me!
