Thread: Help! Last minute gift ideas

Somebody help! I need some last minute gift ideas for my mother in law for Christmas! She's had a rough year so I'd like to get her something nice but have very little idea what she might like.

You would know her likes more than we would. What kinds of things does she enjoy? How about a gift certificate? or a nice basket of body soaps and lotions.

A spa! I think ladies love this kind of relaxation.

But as speedster said, you would know more about what she likes. We could help you a bit if you could tell us the things that she likes.

Well her husband passed away unexpectedly this year and since then she never does anything but work out she's getting too thin though so I don't want to encourage that. A spa gift certificate might be a good idea though!

A spa is always a nice thing but you might be able to get her a foot massage so she can do that at home if she is like me and does not like other people touching the feet. Find a way to let her pamper herself.

That's true Creg I think she might appreciate being able to pamper herself at home more. I think I am going to get one of those foot spa things and some nail polish.

I know it is too late, but they said that the best gift is the gift given without any reason. Besides offering her the way of pampering herself, you can give her a nice and inspiring book like Chicken Soup for the Soul.
