    Auto shows.

The annual auto show is coming to the Chicago area starting for us regular folks on February 12th and I can't wait. I love checking out all the new styles and the concept cars.

Anyone else planning to or love checking out the auto shows?

As a kid I hated auto shows because there was so little to *do* besides walk around and look at cars I knew I'd never get to ride in, lol. Now, I wish they would have shows in my area for me to go to!

I hope to get up north this summer to catch a couple with some friends of mine but that all demands on how work and summer projects around the house go. It feels like it has been EON's since I have been anywhere.

No, I don't really go to them anymore. I used to attend some when I was younger. We had a great time going and seeing the cars on display.

I haven't been to one, but I definitely got into watching the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction on TV a couple years ago.

They had some beautiful Shelbys going for very high prices.

I love car shows because the cars are always new and gleaming. Seeing new cars is one of my weaknesses. I always admire new cars whether they are in car shows or passing through me on traffic, like I posted in the Distractions thread.

An auto show is an event I will never miss if it is held in my place. I like auto shows as those are the only places I can see, touch, try and admire new and luxury cars without being frowned upon by the owners. LOL.

I've never been to a real auto show, but I have seen an auto collection years ago at Las Vegas. There were a lot of interesting cars there, including a Tucker, if I'm not mistaken.
