    PDA's Blah

I have to rant a little and ask if others are like this too. A friend of mine on Facebook, ha! Well I just sent him a message that his love stuff on FB makes me vomit. I know he is my friend and I can choose to avoid reading the stuff and seeing the photos, but when it gets to the point 1/2 of my home page is full of it, I just had to. Are others like this too?

Yeah, some people really overdo it with displaying their affection. I understand once in a while, but if half your homepage is full, I suggest checking out lamebook.com and seeing if you feel like submitting his PDA to it, lol.

Your post made me smile. I guess that's one of the downsides of the site, you get to see what your friends post...whatever they post. Is there any way to just block this person's posts?

I cannot find the way to keep a friend's post from appearing in my wall. The only way is removing all connection with him, but that will be rude.

Have you changed your view from "Live Feed" to "News Feed." The news feed only displays status updates and things that have recieved a few "comments" and "likes" by other people first, so if others dislike his PDA as much as you, it should get filtered out and not appear on your News Feed.

I didn't know that that was the distinction between live feed and news feed. How interesting. Thanks for sharing this. It's funny how facebook dominates so much now, isn't it?

Yes, Facebook affect not only your online life, but also our offline life. Many friends of mine spend most of their online time on Facebook updating status, commenting on others' status, uploading pictures, playing games, etc. When they are not online, still they talk about their activities on Facebook.
