    Do you ever get bored?

I know that we are all racing fans here but are there times that you get bored with a race? I mean the races have so many laps and we only get excited when a car will overtaken by another car or there will be clashes of cars.

I do get bored when the leading car is all by itself and the next car is +60 seconds away.

It's just like watching any sport, I suppose; the closer it is, the more exciting it is. I hate watching any type of match where one player or team is way ahead of the other and likey to stay there.

I would actually say I get more bored with slacker commentators than with the race itself. Some people just should not have that job and when you hear over & over again the same thing and there is no spark to it, that to me is what drags it down.

Yes, sometimes the comments are more distracting than informative. And, like the others, I also get bored when the result is so predictable. Unfortunately, it is what I often encounter in F1 races.

This seldom happens to me because I normally eat when I watch races. If ever I get bored, I would just eat more so pass my boredom.

I also agree that commentators are sometimes the ones to be blamed for the race to be boring.

With the Nascar series I always get bored when they have the road races. It doesn't seem like there are many lead changes in these races and I want to see some racing. Other than that no I don't think I will ever be bored with it.

Of course I get bored, I would be lying if I told you different. If I am at home, I usually channel surf but keep an eye on the race. I will sit and watch it the closer it comes to the end.

I am still trying to talk my spouse into letting me have two TV's in the same room just so I can do that without missing anything. I hate the idea of PIP and it looks horrible lately on most sets.
