I hate long distance driving. I dont think I ever got close to falling a sleep at the wheel though

I have never fallen asleep behind the wheel. I have looked up out the window and been like where am I or how did I get here on trips I have made a million times before like coming home from work.

I will pull over at a busy rest area and close my eyes for awhile or in a restaurant parking lot. Somewhere where I feel there is enough activity around that I don't have to worry about creeps.

You know I think we have all approached this topic from the stance of long distance driving but driving while too tired can happen anytime. I know my husband was too tired to be making the hour long commute after our baby was born and keeping us up all night every night.
