Thread: Using someone's car and getting an accident

Have you ever borrowed your friend's car and got an accident with it? I think it is the last thing I want to experience. How did you cope with it anyway?

Thankfully, I have only been in one accident in my life (knock wood) and it was minor and in my own vehicle. I would feel awful if I wrecked a friend's car, I wouldn't know what to say.

I have never been in an accident while I was using a friend's car. I did back into a friend's car. I felt horrible. I smashed her tail light out. She wasn't happy with me. Insurance covered it though.

I seldom borrow my friend's car because of this thought. I'd rather take a bus if I need to go somewhere than borrow the car of my friend. I don't want to be responsible for the damage that the car might have while I'm driving it.

No, I must be a good driver then huh? Honestly though I hate the idea of driving someones vehicle, I hate having to relearn something that I am not used to. I love my car and my truck, I must be getting old or something.

This is something I have never experienced, thank god! I have bored cars before when my vehicle has been in the garage. I hope I never have this happen to me. I would feel horrible.

Well I wasn't driving a friends car but I did back into my brother's friends car while driving my own. I was absolutely mortified I never even saw the car there.

I absolutely hate having to drive anybody else's car. I haven't ever been in an accident but I figure that would be just my luck.

The only time I ever wrecked a friend's car I demolished it. He didn't mind though. He had asked me to drive it in a local demolition derby.
