    Backseat Drivers

I hate driving the car when my husband rides with me he always has to criticize my every move. Do any of you experience this? What do you do? I end up just letting him drive usually which really annoys me!

There is a quick saying in my family, "shut up or get out" and most people have no issues unlesss they really do want to walk. Walking is a good source of exercise you know.

Oh yes, I do deal with this! I usually hear how I hit every bump in the road or how I should have gone a different way because it would have been quicker. I just usually ignore him. I know that is the best way to irritate him.

I've never had that much of a problem with it except that my mother was a horrible backseat driver. I went the speed limit and she just hated that.

What's really annoying is that some back seat drivers don't even know how to drive. My mom is one of them and she constantly complains even though she doesn't know how to drive.

It's funny you are saying this. Just today I was driving into town to go to the grocery store with my daughters. They are 7 and 8. All of a sudden I hear them telling me that I am going too fast that the speed limit is 45! I said I am going 50 and then I started thinking about it and said "Hey! When you get old enough to drive you worry about how fast YOU are going until then hush!" I giggled when I said it though.
