    I'd assume that it's easier to learn to drive manual first, then automatic. But I learned automatic first, then manual, so I can't really say. Trying to learn manual though is a gigantic pain. I stalled the car so many times....

    Your probably correct, once you've mastered the 3 pedals and gearshift, driving an automatic is a piece of cake.
    I won't go into toe/heel and double clutching
