    Manual or Automatic

What kind of car do you like to drive, manual or automatic transmission?

I always like manual because I could control the acceleration of my car. I think automatic cars is very useful in the city because of heavy traffic.

I think you summed it up pretty well, I would only add that I can control the handling of a car better with a standard transmission.
In traffic that clutch pedal can become a nuisance very quickly.

I like manual for that reason as well. I also like it because it is what I learned to drive with. I remember trying to teach my cousin to drive in a parking lot, it was so funny! We kept going in circles and jerking!

I think driving a stick shift. I think they are fun to drive, but I normally drive an automatic. It easier to drive it around town through the traffic.

I drive an automatic now but I do prefer an manual if at all possible for the exact reason (control). Most people assume that since I am younger (kind of) I have no idea how to drive to start with but I have had amazing teachers throughout the years and I swear then when I get "my car" it will fully be a manual, no if, ands or buts about it.

I remember when I learned how to drive manual. My father dropped the car off to me and said, "It's yours!" I told him I didn't know how to drive. He came back with, "I guess you are going to teach yourself." I did! The bucking of the car stopped about 2 weeks into me driving..lol

It's not just a preference for me, but I only know how to drive an automatic. I tried to learn how to drive a manual many years ago, but I just couldn't get along with the clutch.

Manual for sure. You can control it much better and you can go faster. And all real racers use manuals too haha. If you know how to use manuals, they are more fun.

It takes a good bit of practice. Since I started to drive a manual first (really driving it I should say, and it was a truck) I managed to do just fine when I swapped into a car, other than almost taking the tires off my friends car on accident.

The fun difference between driving a heavy truck and a light car.
gak! work is just wrong in so many ways...

I have never learned how to drive a manual I have always had an automatic. My husband's truck is a manual and he tried to teach me but one of us doesn't have the patience for it!
