I prefer to drive an SUV. I feel safer and I can load up the kids and hit the road (usually to the grocery store...sigh). Which do you prefer to drive? Do you own one?

I can see where you are coming from with the SUV but I have always liked trucks. Loud trucks with big tires are my favorites. I was raised in a big city but I must be a country girl at heart.
I have had an SUV that was nice to drive, but didn't have as much room inside as I would have liked. My husband has an 89 Chevy pickup with a race care motor in it and he just loves revving that thing up. I drive a Dodge Intrepid that is my most favorite car I have ever owned. Sadly, it has a lot of miles on it and may not last much longer.
I have a car but I would like to move up to an SUV. I only have one little one now but we are trying for another one so I could really use a little more room.
We have a Hyundai Santa Fe (front wheel drive only), we need the room for the grand kids and I drive a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 2wd (I'm partial to rear wheel drive) but I miss our Mazda 3 that we traded in for the Hyundai, that car was a ton of fun to drive.
Give me something small, sporty and preferably rear wheel drive and you'll have a hard time to wipe the smile from my face.
We have a Chevy Tahoe and I much prefer it to the smaller car we have. My husband also has a truck. Thank goodness all of these vehicles are paid for. I hate having a car payment!
I love sports cars except for the fact that they are so low to the ground. As I have gotten older it is harder to get out of them. I have a 1996 Mustang Cobra convertible right now but I am thinking of getting a SUV.
I have had all three actually. The SUV was nice during the cold months when the weather would get a little nasty or when we had to haul stuff (also when I had to use it to help tear down an old tree in the yard). My car I prefer as its a little sport, still holds a ton and does good on the MPG. The truck we have just in case, but honestly when I drive a truck I prefer a stick shift and ours is not.![]()
