Good to see Loris getting on the front row This season has been somewhat lack-luster to say the lest I'm surprised to see Jorge sitting where he is. I wonder if he's still a little sore from the beatings he's taken the past few weeks Can't say I blame him.

I hadn't seen Rossi's Rossi helmet yet either

Tomorrow is gonna be a loooong day of sittin on my but watching the bikes AMA Superbike and Supersports along with the first WSBK in America in years at Miller, plus the GP of Italy! I might explode!

The DVR will be working overtime! Now if they'd only start to show quali here in N.A.

Rossi took his 7th home victory at Mugello and extends his lead over Pedrosa at the championship with 12 points.
Lorenzo had difficulties all weekend to find the right pace. He went off when trying to overtake De Angelis and didn't collect any points.

Very good race for Rossi, he was playing with Stoner
And De Angelis, I think he had the pace to fight for the win, or at least for the podium, very quick ....to start from 10th and finish fourth, it's a pretty good performance, for a Honda that is struggling between 10th and 15th

I gotta avoid these threads on race-day
I accidently clickered on it this morning and tried to hit the back button as fast as possible.. I saw the first word FAlonso has typed, and the surprise was gone Stupid me

The first 2/3 of the race were spectacular (as usual), but even the last third was pretty entertaining too. IMO one of the entertaining races of the year Mugello is one of my fave's to watch a GP. 96,000 screaming tifosi... I can't even imagine. That's a LOT of people

Hat-trick Rossi! Stoner played it very cool, and you could see just how much he pushes that bike. Unreal.
And as Aphelyon said, de Angelis easily had his best GP race. That was pretty cool to watch, as well as the great ride by Toseland. I think it was his first time at Mugello.

Lorenzo needs to STAY on the bike! You'll hurt less. I promise. That guy's been taking a beating.

Yep, that sucked. They should protect the front brakes to prevent these kind of crashes that happens once in a while.
