Thread: WSBK from Nurburgring 2008

Race 1:

Good racing all the way till the end. Haga was racing with a broken collar bone after a crash at the US GP at Miller motorsports park. He and Bayliss were out front battling all race for the lead with Haga on point most of the way. With a handful of laps to go, Bayliss made the move into 1st. About 2 laps later he ran it very wide giving the lead back to Haga who was able to keep the lead for the win. A great performance from Haga especially with the injury!

Race 2:

The 1st few laps were great with plenty of battles on track. Haga, Corser and Bayliss battled hard up front until Bayliss made some mistakes falling back. He would go on to finish 4th. Haga and Corser checked out and battled hard right up until, with 5 to go, the red flag came out for rain. They called the race handing Haga the double win for the weekend. Corser was in the lead at the flag BUT they take it from the last lap giving it to Haga. A 1-2 Yamaha finish.
