Mika Kallio to MotoGP for 2009?

KTM's Mika Kallio (FIN

), currently 2nd in points of 250cc's is according to his manager moving to MotoGP. He says that the contract is "just missing Mika's signature". Strongest rumours would take him to Ducati or Kawasaki, but JiR Honda is also in the speculation. Kallio would be the first Finnish driver in the top level of road racing since the great late Jarno Saarinen.

He is a good driver, he made a really good race in China this year under the rain.He made a few mistakes durring the season but MotoGP must have a seat for him he is a really good driver

and i hope to see him next year in MotoGP

I would like to see Simoncelli in MotoGP next year as well ...he's a showman, like Rossi, and he has what he needs

It's now confirmed that Mika is on his way to the Ducati's satellite team and will team up with Niccolo Canepa. Kallio is the first finn in 30 years to compete in the top level of road racing.

Mika Kallio is a decent driver & performs well on the racing circuit within his limits.
It would be really nice to see him back in the racing competitions.
