    Racing Movies

Besides the Fast and the Furious; are there any other really good racing movies that are good enough to watch? I'm going to be hosting a racing party, and am just trying to get a collection of good racing, or car related movies. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yeah torque is a very good movie. I personally prefer fast and furious series. I like all the parts of fast and furious especially the tokyo drift part.

Other then the movies named above, transporter series is very much based on cars and driving, not racing but speed none the less.

All the suggested movies are really great. Torque is my favorite one though. I guess you would be watching one or at max 2 movies in the party.

Speed series is nice too. But is is not totally a driving movie. Torque is simply awesome and transporter is good too.

Torque is certainly the best one. Not only because it is speedy but there are other components in it as well.

Sylvester Stallone's "Driven" came to mind, but I don't think the movie itself is worth watching.

I do like some of the sequences in it though, like when they take the cars out of the showroom onto the streets. Parts of it were shot in Toronto during the Molson Indy a few years ago.

Days of Thunder was a pretty good older racing movie with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman . If you are just looking for a cool car movie with some chase scenes Gone in 60 Seconds with Nicholas Cage is great!

What was the heist movie with Mark Wahlberg where they drove fast cars around Germany or something? Ugh, I am drawing a blank... Anyhow, that was one of my favorite "car" movies.

I have never seen Gone in 60 Seconds!!
