    Public Enemies (2009)

I watched this movie over the weekend and even though I was sick (and it felt twice as long), I still loved it. Good cast for just about everyone on line, esp. the girl who played Billie. Anyone else catch this?

John Dillinger: I was raised on a farm in Moooresville, Indiana. My mama ran out on us when I was three, my daddy beat the hell out of me cause he didn't know no better way to raise me. I like baseball, movies, good clothes, fast cars, whiskey, and you... what else you need to know?

I haven't seen it yet but I just put it in my queue for Netflix. I am always looking for good movies to watch right now we have The Departed but haven't gotten to see it yet...almost 3 hours who has that much time?

I was actually required to watch this movie for a graduate class on American literature (the professor loved film as well). I really enjoyed it and remember the line you reference - I might just buy the movie to own it.

For some reason when watching this I kept flipping back to a cartoon I had found of Depp on lolcat's website.

I kept finding myself giggle at random times in the movie when it needed to be serious and my spouse kept asking me what was wrong. Once the movie ended I sent him the URL.

I have watched this movie and this made me think if the portrayal of the actors is the same as what happened in history. Or are movies always exaggerated for entertainment's sake?

I think it could be a little of both and I do remember years ago researching the history of Dillinger but I do remember some off parts with the movie, that could have just been for flare of course but it was still an awesome movie. And it sounded great now that we got the sub woofer fixed too.
