Damn straight! I turn 35 in a couple of weeks and I too have noticed alot of the "newer" music is just churned out en mass, and doesn't have any staying power. There are exceptions to the rule of coursebut not many.

Drummers who are lead singers... not a very common combo.
Satanic Surfers, one of my favourite bands from the 90's. They haven't aged very well (not much from the so called "skate punk era" have) but some songs still kick ***.
