Thread: Truex to MWR

It's official: Martin Truex, Jr. will race the number 56 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota for Michael Waltrip Racing in 2010. Michael will run a limited schedule in the 55. Owner points go to the 56.

Additionally, it's official (in my mind, at least) that MWR are no longer the joke they were. Reutimann might just make the Chase, and I've been very pleased with how Ambrose has been running solidly. I don't think too highly of Truex but I do think he's a step up from Mikey, and all three will benefit from MW focusing more on owning and running the team than driving.

It's going to be interesting to see how Truex does. I'm not a fan; he does nothing for me, but he's a decent driver. I'm going to miss seeing Michael drive, though.
