    On television or in person

Where do you like to watch a race more? In your living room or right at the track?

I love being at the track. I love to hear the roaring sound of the cars racing around the track. I really don't like watching the races on television. It is not the same.

I've been watching on tv mostly-- BUT, my boyfriend is taking me to see the race in Martinsville coming up this weekend. I can't wait to go and be at my first live race. My family lives in Indiana, so I think I'm going to try to get to the Indy 500 in the spring.

I've never been to a race in person. I'm sure it would be a thrilling experience. Still, on TV you get to see all the views, and I'm tired of crowds anyway.

My answer is the same for every sport, In person! Nothing beats being at any sporting event in person. The atmosphere is amazing, magical, and just great! I love to watch at home too, but I'd choose a live race any day.

I always have a fear that I might be too rowdy at the race in person so for me its mostly living room plus this helps since its a little harder for me to get around right now. And I do not need to worry about finding a potty on the go either when the beer gets to me.

I like both! I like going to the race and being part of the action but I can have just as much fun watching from the comfort of my living room.

Ugh. I'd forgotten about that part. Now I'm not as excited about going. I didn't even think about the crowds and how many people would be there. I don't like big groups.

Maybe I'll stick with the tv after this race

Yeah, the fan base is HUGE at the races. It's hard to get through the crowds. I am not a big fan on crowds either. That is why I choose to watch most of the races on television.
