Hamlin - the man?

I never pay much attention to Y! news, but I did come across an article that showed some points and I wondered who else was thinking that Hamlin really is the man. For some reason, old age maybe? I still want to see him prove himself a little more.

Great article. I don't usually pay attention to Y News either, or Hamlin. From reading that article I will pay more attention to him next year. I love to see new faces and see them winning (I know it said he started in 06). So from the sounds of it, his car and problems with it blowing up (motor) or other problems really stopped him, he still placed 5th. I can't wait to keep my eye on him next year.

What I like about Denny Hamlin is that the first thing he did when he got some money was help out his folks who had sacrificed everything for him to get to where he is. What I don't like about him is that he's immature. He is very much a whiner, that when he pushes someone it's okay, but if they push him, they're out of line. He highly criticized his crew during the past two years; it's hard to make him happy, unless he wins. I don't like him.

I have never really paid much attention to him in the past though I will take a look at him next season. I have to say though I am really not at all a fan of whiners.

I have to say, Rainbow, that I have observed a lot of the same characteristics when it comes to Denny Hamlin. You almost know the words that are going to come out of his mouth if someone gets in his way.

I am hoping that it's just his age. He's still very young and he could grow up over the next couple of years. He had success very early and maybe that wasn't a good thing for him. I hope he does mature because he's actually done some nice things off the track.
