    Pitstop

I'm loving this rundown from the NZHerald. Patrick, Senna, and 15-year-old Mitch Evans and a bunch of other up-to-date snippets are all here:

I was particularly impressed by the 15 year old! I can't imagine racing professionally at that age. It boggles me that people do it and they're older.

How cool is that. I also can't imagine anyone racing at the age of 15. You can't drive until you are 16? Thanks for sharing this, I'll be sure to check back in often.

One of the fun things about following NASCAR is watching the progress of the driver's kids and even the announcer's kids. This is also why I don't like Mark Martin much. When he was going through his retirement thing, he made a huge deal out of watching his son race. Then he does a 180. I feel sorry for the kid. Anyway, kids start racing almost once they can toddle. There's a series for everything.

It's so crazy to think about these kids driving on a race track and competing against adults. I saw a kid at the gas station the other day and I swear he looked 12!

We were just discussing something similar to this in another thread and I mentioned how I remember when I was 13 and driving in town. Now if you were to do that and get caught you wouldn't get your license til your 18 or 21!

I was just wondering about these kids if they are permitted to race but not permitted to drive on national roads. Could this be possible? Do these kids have a special driver's license or something?

I still admire that kid racing with adults! I just hope it won't go over his head.
