Thread: Earnhardt Jr. -more excuses in 2010?

My sister and brother are die-hard fans of Junior's. All I've heard the last couple of years is "bad crew"..."bad car".... Is there any possibility it's "bad driver"? Do you think 2010 is going to be Junior's year or another year of more excuses?

We did a post about Jr a while back and there were some great points made. A lot of people think he was thrown into racing from his dad. When his dad died there was a lot of pressure on him.
I'm not a fan of his, I just wish he would get out if he isn't happy.

Exactly. He has to make it this year. They can try and say last year was more adjustment time or something. If he doesn't make the chase this year, he might as well quit. So, we'll see what happens.

I don't think he will quit, but I think he needs to put his all into it. There are a lot of so-so drivers out there and we aren't talking smack about them, but I think Jr is not giving it his all.

It looked like he was going to have a great Atlanta race after winning the pole position, but then he just sort of faded and never led a lap or figured in the race. We'll see.

Right now he is 13th in the standings. That isn't terrible but is not great either. I think he can do better. I can't wait to see what he does the rest of the season.
