Thread: Jimmie Johnson accident

Did anyone else hear about the accident earlier this week when Jimmie Johnson wrecked his car and hit the wall at the Rolex practice? While I've begun to really like watching, it still scares me when I hear of accidents.

I didn't hear about his accident. Is he ok? I will have to look it up after this and see. I like Jimmie Johnson and he is pretty popular, so I can't believe its not all over the internet.
When did it happen?

I used just searched about this news on the internet using the terms "Jimmie Johnson accident" and found only 512 web pages containing the terms. I think he deserves more than that.

What I heard when I was looking around was that he was okay. I am glad that he is okay now and not injured too much. I agree with you vroom, he does deserve more!

I must have missed it as well, this week has almost been a blur for me. Work is nutty, the weather is wacky and I am just thankful right now my heat is still on. Whats up with the wreck, any injuries?

He walked away uninjured, but the truck was pretty beat. I think it happened on Thursday night during his practice sessions. It's too bad that it wasn't very well covered.

Yeah, I heard about it but as far as I know, he wasn't injured at all. He just wrecked another car. I'm not a fan of his at all so didn't really pay attention to much more than the headline.
