How much gas?

How much gas does a Nascar driver use during a typical Nascar race?
I never really thought about it, but with the way gas prices are rising, seems like it would cost a lot just to run a car.

I have no idea as well but I think that the sponsors handle these expenses. The team and the driver only need to concentrate on winning the race.

I also would like to know how much they are spending for the fuel in one race.
