Thread: Kurt went drag racing

Kurt Busch finally had his drag racing debut. I have to wonder what Penske, as team owner, thought about that. I have to admit that is a unique present to get from your wife -- the chance to drag race.

Now that sounds like a ton of fun. I didn't see it anywhere on the internet, do you have a link you can post? I would love to see him drag race. I wonder what his sponsors think?

Seriously I know some men and women that would want that for a gift, but I doubt it will happen. Its a good idea but I hope to end up seeing this Busch take a little more into it and see what comes from this first shot....maybe make for a more interesting career move/choice?

I bet Kurt was really happy with that present. What husband wouldn't be? I am sure Penske was on the edge of his seat, if he even knew about it. I am sure he was worried about him getting hurt.

I wouldn't want to see Kurt leave NASCAR to go and be a drag racer all the time. I like him as a racer. Did anyone see a video online anywhere? I'd love to see it.

Oh I don't think there's a chance of him leaving NASCAR. It was just one of those things he's wanted to do and Eva arranged it for him. I never saw the images; just read the story. I'll bet it's on youtube somewhere, though.
