    Highest Paid Drivers

I just read today that Dale Jr. is the highest paid driver in NASCAR when you combine salary, endorsements, and other monies into the equation. That's no surprise. Jeff Gordon is #2, about 3 million less than Junior's 30 mil. That's a nice chunk of green for racing.

Jr is #1- well he does do a lot of endorsements. I had a feeling that Gordon would be right up there. He to me is NASCAR. How interesting.

So how would their salaries be compared to NFL players?

I am actually surprised by this. I figured Jeff Gordon would be #1. I think Dale Jr. picked up a lot of his endorsements by being his Father's son. That is probably what gave him the boost to be #1.

I bet race car drivers make more that NFL players. I am interested to see what the answer to that is. I think NFL players are under paid compared to what they put their bodies through.

I don't like football so I don't have a clue what the players make. Someone else will have to research that if they are curious. Jr. just has a ton of endorsements and he works at that a lot. Jeff does a lot but I don't think he's that into all the extras. He's very selective and really watching his time now.
