    Stewart's First Pole in years

Tony Stewart surprised even himself by landing the pole for Texas this weekend. It was his first pole in 4 years. I think they said something like 155 races since his last pole. Should be an interesting race.

I missed the qualifying details. That's great for Tony. I am a mini-fan of his - meaning I like him a little but not a lot. lol I'm sure this boosted his ego a bit which is what some of the drivers need in order to win.

Anything is possible right? I am always amazed when you hear about such and such driver who might be a tad rusty, that's when I start to root for them. Who cares about age and rust, with good experience anything is possible.

I just can't get over how all of Jeff's rivals end up on his team. First Junior, then Stewart. Geez, now even Kasey Kahne. He's not a rival really, but it's just funny since Jeff was Kahne's hero as a kid. Now that has to make Jeff feel old.

Anyway, I don't think anyone has called Stewart rusty or anything. He had a great year in '09.
