    JJ Takes the Blame

Johnson takes blame for Gordon wreck at Talladega | Comcast.net

JJ has accepted the blame. He sure left the race track fast yesterday. That's usually a sign of some kind of upset or distress.

This still doesn't alter JJ's basic personality flaws. He is in big denial of his need to beat Jeff and how that makes him race.

I think it was pretty decent of JJ to admit he made a mistake. He's only human and at some point in time the majority of drivers have made a mistake on the track. I can certainly see how Gordon would be upset with him, but it only shows good sportsmanship for them to both get past this and chalk it up as a mistake in judgment.

I was surprised. He rarely accepts the blame. People don't realize how aggressive JJ is. If you go back and really think about the number of times he's been the cause of something, he'd be on the Kyle Busch list. He thinks he has the right of way.

Nice to see him doing the right thing and owning up to his mistakes. He certainly isn't one of my favorite drivers but it's good to see he's at least trying to get along.
