For those who don't know or wonder what happened to the series, the company was officially "wound up" in London's High Court on November 29. A winding-up petition had been presented by GPM's chassis supplier Delta Motorsport and series sponsor Altech because the GPM had failed to pay the bills

I loved the concept of the series, though I never got to watch a full race. From what I've read and saw, it was exciting . GPM only held three races between November 2005 and late 2006.
