Thread: Felipe Massa helping to create the Formula Fiat

Felipe Massa worried with the future of the brazilian motorsport is going to creat the F-Fiat togheter with Bridgestone. The only open wheel category that south america has nowadays is the Formula Sulamericana and counts only with brazilian drivers, but is category with just a few drivers and high costs.

Feliep would have already orded the construction of 40 chassis from a not revealed manufacture. The details of this category were discussed durring the Italian grand prix in Monza this year. If this really comes true its going to begin from zero, because Fiat never had suported a base category like Renault or BMW.

I hope this is true, cause i'm very worried about the future of mtorsport here, to many politc fights and nothing has been done for motorsport in the last years
