Thread: Historic Modsports Race cars where are you all

Are there many of you out there that recalls all the original Modsports racing cars that raced up to 1982.

These cars raced on slicks and had semi space frames,many of them where developed from the 1960s and 1970s and gradually where developed year after year to become pretty wild on the circuits.

There was a fantastic array of makes which included the Black Brick Caterhams,Elvas,Jags,Astons,TR,Turners,TVR,Lotus Elans,MG,AC Cobras,Corvettes, the list was long.

A lot of these Historic Modsports ended up under dustsheets and never used again,others where detuned and reverted back to the decade before so they where then able to enter the likes of Goodwood Revival,pre 1966.

The Historic Modsports and Saloon Association have ideas to fully revive these fabulous cars and get them out competing again at the race circuits.
