Nhra

I think I'm calling it by the right name... lol

NHRA... isn't that drag racing? We went to one of the races over the summer and had a blast. Has anyone been to a drag race? What did you think of it?

I've never been to drag racing, but I'd like to check it out. I first started going to stock car races and I loved them.

I haven't heard much of the NHRA for awhile. I wonder if it's struggling because of the tough economic times?

Everyone is struggling and I guess the different race circuits are not immune to financial problems. You should check out a drag race if you get a chance. It really was a lot of fun and something I'd like to do again.

Do normal tracks have drag racing? I haven't seen any up and coming events advertised recently. I would be interested in going soon, as it looks like a lot of fun!

I don't think all tracks that have stock car racing would necessarily have the required dimensions for drag racing.

I don't think that the stock tracks I went to had drag racing., but they were fairly small courses.

The drag strip we went to is just that - a drag strip. No circular racing can be done there because it's two straight lines that run side by side. It's very different than a stock car track.

I went to one drag race as a kid but it never held the same appeal for me as stock car or NASCAR did. I do like the look of the dragsters though.

I haven't seen any normal tracks with a drag racing strip in them. Even though I do like any form of motorsport, I prefer something that would last longer.
