Thread: I felt like I was drag racing

I hate it when people try to drive crazy on the expressways. I was minding my own business going about 7 miles over the speed limit. I was in the slow lane and some idiot came up in the fast lane and rode even with me. Another car came up behind me and tried to pass us! I sped up because I didn't want to be hit. The car sped up! I felt like I was drag racing him.
Crazy!

There have definitely been times on expressways when I specifically want to put some distance between myself and some other drivers.

I guess the only thing you can do is try to spot the bad situations as soon as possible and avoid them.

I think if I drove an armored car, they wouldn't be messing with me! I'd like that! I hate crazy drivers and I try to stay away from them. I'm usually good at getting away and placing distance but I was kind of stuck.

Some days when I'm feeling mischievious I'll actually slow down when people come up to close behind me like that, as long as I can see in my rearview mirror that the driver is paying attention enough to slow down and get the hint!

When they are so close to my bumper that I can see the whites in their eyes - they are too close. I have always wanted a horn that could be blasted at loud volumes at cars around me (yes with obscenities too).
