    Water Racing Series

We all seem to have various interest in the world of motor racing. Does anyone follow any of the water sports such as motor boats or jet skis?

I actually didn't know they had a racing series for these thing. Where do you watch them on the sports channels? This might actually be more fun to see in person though.

I wouldn't say that I follow them, but I have seen some events on TV.

I seem to remember seeing a lot of crashes of the racing boats on those TV shows that feature things going wrong. I think they're on Fox.

I like watching boat races but they are not many. By the way, what type of boat racing are we talking here? Is it the canoe type with many rowers or is the speed boat race?

I love the speed boat races because they are like flying above the water. I have watched some of these races on ESPN.

Well I have never really seen either but I think speed boat races might be more fun to watch than canoeing. I bet it might be fun to participate in some boat races...if only I had a boat!

It's something I would like to watch, speedboat racing. I've seen speedboats on the lake and people jet skiing but never any races. It does sound fun though.

Do the same people travel all over and compete? You know like Nascar?

I've never actually seen an event in person, but I have watched a couple of events on television. I must admit, I prefer the types of racing that involves land and wheels.

I did a google search on speed boat racing and found this place in Florida where you can learn to race speed boats. You learn the basics of boating and actually go out into the Atlantic and bring the boat up to speed, with an experienced captain of course. I would love to try this.
