    powerboat racing safety has actually improved a lot (for regular racing anyways, not sure about drag boat racing) especially the Oryx Cup and Rib Rally series which you can see here: RaceFansTV

    Its not really something I follow all that much but if its on and I am flipping through channels I will stop to watch it. I love the idea of being on a boat anyways (the freedom away from most others) so why not.
    gak! work is just wrong in so many ways...

    I had never heard of it before this but if I saw it on tv I would probably watch it. I agree that it looks to be an extremely dangerous sport.
