    To get this thread back to tracks, all I just mean that autosport have taken drivers from the most popular and respected carseries. IRL and even more the V8's are behind series like F1 or WRC when it comes to "respect" for the series. Franchitti, Dixon and Kanaan won/took part for something else than just random GP's. Indy 500, Sebring...And that is why they "penetrated" the front of F1 and WRC drivers. Anyways doing these kind of lists is bit silly IMO, it's like trying to do top 50 list of babes or hunks.

    Yeah, good points. Opinions play a big part in these type lists. You seen the sports lists....best quarterbacks, best runningbacks, best defense, etc.

    I just thought it was interesting to put up and inspire comments about it.

    Because I think very few people think she's one of the top 50 drivers in the world.

    Very strange rankings . There is absolutely not basis for comparison once you do an inter-series list like that

    Autosport really doesn't need to do that. They have a fairly good reputation, and that just takes it away

    I think the following is included in the formula:

    Code:
    if($driver == "British")
        $points = $points+100000;
    else
       $points = $points-50;
