Red Bull Racing Phenom Joins Roaring Lion Motorsports Roster

LOS ANGELES, CA, Jun 19 (RLMR) --

Roaring Lion Energy Drink was excited to announce yesterday a new partnership with auto racing phenom, Brook Johnston. Johnston, fresh off a 2008 championship in the Formula BMW International series and some Formula One testing, has decided that he’s had enough with the Bull and is eager to move forward with his racing career as a Lion.

“I am ecstatic to be able to join the likes of Roaring Lion‘s Motorsports Division this season. There are a lot of opportunities in the near future and I look forward to a successful run at another Championship season.”

Roaring Lion’s Motorsports Director, Brian Boaté, shared Brook’s excitement for the new partnership. “[Brook is] one of the best kept ‘secrets’ in the auto racing world. He has had tremendous success in every racing series he’s entered and has shown the potential and character to be one of the all time greats. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Brook aboard and eagerly look forward to getting him back out on the track.”

The 2008 Extreme Athlete of the Year has a racing pedigree to get excited about. With a tremendous karting background, including several World and National Championships, Johnston has taken his racing potential to a new level this past season, winning the Formula BMW International World Championship and testing for Formula One’s Scuderia Toro Rosso program. This year, Brook has kept closely involved in racing, while also making a name for himself in the media world. Johnston will be making appearances this year at such events as the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, 2009 Teen Choice Awards, Playboy’s Concorso Exotica Car Show, several charity events, races and more, including his work with fellow sponsor, Affliction Clothing, to develop a signature clothing line. Johnson has also been busy managing fellow Roaring Lion Motorsports athlete, Josh Van Den Heuvel, who has taken the Amateur Motocross world by storm this season.

Johnston is currently weighing his options in several series for next season. “At the moment I have several promising opportunities for next season on all fronts. Either way I look at it, I would love to bring another championship to the table.” One thing is for certain - in whatever jungle Johnston chooses to roam, the Lion has what it takes to be king.

Lightbulb Police ask residents for information in Virginia Tech student's death

http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/CR...n.courtesy.jpgThe person responsible for a Virginia Tech student's death was familiar with the area where her body was recovered, police said Thursday. The farmland site where Morgan Harrington's remains were found is the "most significant" aspect of the investigation into her death, Virginia State Police Lt. Joe Rader said. He asked that members of the surrounding community call police with any details of the area and who has frequented it."People in North Garden, people in the Anchorage Farm area, you know what goes on there," Rader said, referring to areas of Virginia's Albemarle County. "You know the history. You know who comes in and out of that vicinity. You may not realize it, but you probably have some information for us that you don't think is important."[imghttp://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/CRIME/02/04/virginia.harrington.death/story.morgan2.cnn.jpg[/img]Morgan cheap wow power levelingnot Harrington disappeared October 17, after attending a Metallica concert at the University of Virginia's John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia. The 20-year-old education major was separated from her friends at the concert.A farmer discovered her skeletal remains on his 700-acre farm January 26, police said. The farm is about 10 miles from the concert site. There have been no arrests in the case, police said. The cause of her death is still under investigation.Investigators think that the farm "did not present an unnecessary risk for the person responsible" and that the person passed through or visited the farm or the nearby area, Rader said.to the area where the remains were found "would have created a significant risk for any person not familiar to that area and not comfortable with that type of setting," Rader said."Farmland like the place where Morgan's body was located has obstacles, difficult obstacles. It has streams, it has fences, it has defects, it has terrain that changes. That's important, that's a high-risk opportunity to pick that location to take Morgan Harrington unless you're familiar with the area," he said. aion power levelmain
