    Racing Scanners

Well, I finally bought a new racing scanner package. My scanner was getting old and I had cheap headsets. So I bought this new set. It looks like a darn good set-up. Channel 1 is obviously reserved for Danica Patrick and her team. The big selling point is the tote to carry all of it in. I included a picture of the package as well.

These are the items included in the package I bought...
    • 1 - Uniden BC95XLT Scanner (200 Channels)
    • 2 - RACING RADIOS Behind the Head headsets (24db Noise reduction)
    • 1 - Tote Bag (Holds headsets, scanners, tickets, keys, etc. - Track Legal)
    • 1 - Leg Strap (Free your hands, keeps the scanner secured and visible)
    • 1 - Stubby Race Antenna (Perfect for track use)
    • 1 - Splitter Cord (Connects both headsets to one scanner)
    • 1 - Nascar Frequency Guide (Nascar Cup, Busch and Truck Channels)

If it has a wide enough array of variable, and available channels that could get that frequency, I suppose you could. But I think the range for that application is not large enough.

I have a scanner that picks up police, marine, military, ambulance, etc. etc., but you need to know what frequency those channels are on. I have a book with all the frequencies for damn near every emergency response and police channel for the entire province.

Just don't ask me why I have it
