When the cars line up, the pole sitter has to sit and wait for like forever before the last Minardi/Arrows/Forti/Super Aguri/Midland is stationary and the guy waves the green flag. Then the red lights light up..... that's when the pulse really begins to go bananas. The red lights go off, wheel spin and tire smoke and a mad dash to the first corner.
Rolling starts in F1? NO THANKS!

In f1 there is more tension. The driver could false start and lose places in the process.

Yes Dunk, I prefer the rolling start. Here is the start of the Mid-0hio race in 2007 in Indycar. I was at this race. It was scary. I didnt like the mishap at the beginning with Marco flipping and Danica running off course.
